Kalevala

In the beginning of Kalevala, the national ephos of Finland, there is a mention of a wish to begin singing about the cultural wisdom of our family and about the instinctual wisdom of our species. 

Finland is a country in the north where the four seasons determine a lot of how life ought to be lived, which skills and values one ought to have. So weather skills are clearly a natural unavoidable part of lufe here. And those one learns best from the wild nature.
